LAS VEGAS (June 3, 2016) – MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) and New York-based Sydell Group have announced a partnership to reimagine and rebrand Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. The approximately $450 million transformation, which will touch every element of the property, will include two distinct hotel experiences: a Las Vegas version of Sydell’s widely acclaimed NoMad Hotel, and the launch of a new luxury hotel named Park MGM.

LAS VEGAS (June 3, 2016) — Eataly has announced plans to open a new store in a luxury resort under development on the famed Las Vegas Strip in collaboration with MGM Resorts International and Sydell Group. Creating a unique hospitality experience, the new resort, Park MGM, will allow guests to explore Eataly’s vibrant marketplace with cafes, to-go counters, and sit-down restaurants interspersed with high-quality products from sustainable Italian and local producers.

Yusho Japanese Grill and Noodle House at Monte Carlo will unveil a Kikusui Funaguchi sake can designed specifically for the restaurant at Yusho After Dark Tuesday, June 2. Yusho Executive Chef Brian Lhee and SUSHISAMBA Chef Bobby Silva will treat the crowd to two creative dishes prepared just for the evening’s festivities as well as a variety of Yusho’s signature appetizers and ramen bites.

For chefs and foodies who revel in spending down time sifting through real cookbooks and recipes rather than flipping through apps, an inspiring new destination debuts Tuesday, March 31: Andre’s Cigar Lounge and Culinary Library. Located on the second floor of Andre's Restaurant & Lounge at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, this library represents the first of its kind in Las Vegas and will showcase Chef André Rochat’s personal collection of cookbooks, amassed over the course of his more than 55 years in the culinary industry. Nearly 700 books will be on display at any given time and available for guests to read. New books will be regularly rotated in from his collection, which include more than 1,000 titles. Subjects include baking and pastry, wine and spirits, restaurant architecture, celebrity chefs and much more.

LAS VEGAS (February 2015) – Legendary Las Vegas chef André Rochat will be honored by his past and present peers and protégés Sunday, March 29 at Andre’s Restaurant & Lounge at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. Rochat, who is celebrating 35 years in Las Vegas in 2015, will host the evening as a team of chefs create a one-night only menu that will feature exquisite culinary creations. The dishes, selected to acknowledge and honor Chef Andre, will showcase the talents of each chef.  The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Ticket proceeds from the event will benefit the James Beard Foundation (JBF), the world’s foremost culinary nonprofit organization.
